Limits from Graphs

A limit is what a function approaches as you get infinitely close to a specified value. For example, \(\lim_{x\to c}f(x)=L\) would be read as "the limit as x approaches c of \(f(x)\) is L." This means that as \(x\) gets closer and closer to \(c\), \(f(x)\) gets closer to \(L\).
